Protest Walk Planned In Fond du Lac For Sunday

31-May-2020

It's been a weekend of peaceful protests in some part of the country, and violence in many others, as tension and frustration continues to simmer following the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. Organizers are planning a Protest Walk in Fond du Lac, beginning at 3 pm, at the corner of Johnson and Main. KFIZ will be on location, and will bring you Facebook Live coverage starting at 2:45 p.m. Our hope is that residents will be able to assemble in a peaceful manner, and let their voices be seen and heard. But be respectful.

What exactly is meant by the statement "tribal/clan sub-human"? I believe it is type of prejudice and microagression that is the cause for these protests. It is time we as a human race treat all with respect, irregardless of their skin color or origin. In no way am I defending the actions of those who are going beyond a peaceful protest, but unfortunately their crimes are viewed by too many as being more horrendous than the murder of a member of a minority group. That's wrong.

Idiots like idi amin who create civil unrest. Just because something bad like this happened, doesn't mean we have to be the same way. U could be damaging someone's business who agrees with the wrong done, but u don't care, you do it for fun, stupidity, and you're the kind of person, like 50% of these protesters have nothing better to do than create havoc. Hope you get arrested

Ouch! Truth hurts, huh? my first post was deleted. Expressing non party line opinions has consequences.

Let’s see if this one hangs on.
Basically said the protesters should not infringe on the rights of others please! no blocking street or sidewalks and throwing objects, shooting you know all that tribal kind of stuff that should have faded into history upon becoming civilized. Or something to that affect.

first comment must have touched a truth not convenient for the editors.

be safe out there and keep the tribal antics at home.

The assembly was wonderful--at least the part of it I saw--and I am very proud of our police who provided the needed protection for this quiet, peaceful, and determined group of US citizens.

I will stick to alternative media. KFIZ decides who and what is said, no rights. Money talks!

But will the rioters emerge after dark like in so many other cities?

It could happen! They could burn down the convent! They could put Shopko and Best Buy out of business! They could force the closure of many mall stores! Even assault and batter a butterburger!

Andy- kudos to you for asking people to refrain from general mal-adaptive behaviors and violence. Sad that moderators feel a need to supress some comments while leaving others untouched. It is a reflection of media bias and intolerance of individual thought.
