State Sees Highest 1-Day COVID-19 Numbers Wednesday

We were on a streak of 4 straight days of declining new cases for COVID-19, but the Wednesday numbers provided the highest number of new cases in over two weeks. 599 new confirmed cases were reported on Wednesday in the state, with almost 6% of the tests processed coming back positive for coronavirus. There were also 22 deaths. The total of confirmed cases in the state now stands at 16,462, with over 210,000 negative tests also being reported. The numbers for Fond du Lac County did not increase drastically, with 8 new confirmed cases being reported, bringing the County total to 189. There are now 71 confirmed cases, 113 recovered cases and 10 people hospitalized due to coronavirus.
