--Ryan Field continued to be a house of horrors for the Badgers - as Wisconsin lost three fumbles and turned in a largely ineffective performance on both sides of the ball in the loss to Northwestern on Saturday. The Wildcats scored 17 points off of those three fumbles, as quarterback Clayton Thorson ran for two scores and threw for another in the win. Alec Ingold’s four yard touchdown run put the Badgers up early, but Northwestern would never trail again, building a 14-10 halftime lead and extending it out to 31-10 before Wisconsin scored again. Sophomore Jack Coan, starting in place of Alex Hornibrook - who did not play because of a concussion - threw for 158 yards and a touchdown to Kendric Pryor in the loss. Wisconsin falls to 3-2 in Big Ten play and 5-3 overall. The Badgers host Rutgers on Saturday.
