--The Bucks are the only unbeaten team left standing in the NBA, after knocking off the Raptors at the Fiserv Forum Monday night. Playing without Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks got 19 points from Ersan Ilyasova and 17 apiece from Eric Bledsoe and Malcolm Brogdon in the win. The Bucks are 7-0 for just the second time in team history - the last to do it was the 1971-72 team. Milwaukee hits the road to take on Boston Thursday night.

--Klay Thompson scored 52 points - making an NBA record 14-three pointers in the win for the Warriors.

NBA News:

Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has been named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week. Giannis averaged 24.8 points, 13 rebounds and five assists in four games last week as the Bucks had a perfect 4-0 record. Going into Monday’s game, Giannis had season averages of 25 points, 14 rebounds and five assists. It’s the fourth time Giannis has been named Player of the Week.

College Hoops:

UW-Oshkosh senior guard Ben Boots has been named an honorable mention preseason All-American by D3Hoops dot com. Boots is the first Titan player to be named a preseason All-America selection since D3 Hoops started its preseason recognition program in 2011. Boots helped Oshkosh to a 25-8 record and the school’s first appearances in the NCAA D-3 Final Four and National Championship Game, where they lost to Nebraska Wesleyan. A 33-game starter, Boots averaged 16 points, four assists and 1.4 steals per game. He joins Robert Duax of UW-Platteville as WIAC players to earn preseason recognition this season.
