The Badger's kickoff specialist just snuck the ball inside the left upright for a school-record 62-yarder as the first half against Purdue ended on Saturday. Hintze’s kick also stands as the longest field goal hit in college football since UTEP's Jose Martinez hit a 64-yarder in 2008. Hintze had not attempted a field goal this season until Saturday.
NFL:
Green Bay coach Matt LaFleur says everyone on the Packers – coaches and players – has to take ownership of Sunday night’s 37-8 blowout loss against the 49ers. LaFleur says his offense made more mistakes than in any game since week one. He says the defense was able to hang tough for a time, but two big-play T-Ds were the result of being out-schemed and out-played. Even special teams had an off night. What was so hard to understand, the coach told reporters Monday, was that his team had a good week of practice coming off the bye.
Monday Night Football:
Baltimore 45, LA Rams 6
--Lamar Jackson threw for 169 yards and five touchdowns in the blowout win for the Ravens
NHL:
NY Rangers 3, Minnesota 2 (OT)
