>>Top NFC North Rivals Book-End Green Bay’s 2020 Schedule

>>Report:  Antetokounmpo’s Social Media Account Hacked

(Milwaukee, WI)  --  No, Giannis Antetokounmpo is not going to the Golden State Warriors – at least, not now. The Milwaukee Bucks star has apologized for a series of tweets from his social media accounts which criticized his current team, LeBron James, Steph Curry and others. The tweets included racial slurs, profanity and a claim that Antetokounmpo had the coronavirus. His brother, Kostas Antetokounmpo, says his brother’s social media, phone, email and bank accounts were hacked Thursday.  The Bucks say an investigation is being conducted.

>>Big Ten:  No Decision About Fall Sports For At Least 6 Weeks

(Chicago, IL)  --  Big Ten Commissioner Kevin Warren says his conference is at least six weeks away from making any decision about fall sports.  For now, the conference football season is set to start on the first Saturday in September – less than four months from now. Big Ten schools have started planning for re-opening their campus – maybe with social distancing guidelines in effect – but none of those 14 schools can promise the fall semester will start on time. Ohio State athletic director Gene Smith points out that if students aren’t on campus the school has decided it’s not safe for them.  He wonders why it would be considered safe for student-athletes.

>>Northwoods League Postpones Opening Day Indefinitely

(Madison, WI)  --  The Northwoods League has postponed its opening day for the 2020 summer baseball season indefinitely.  It was supposed to kick off May 26th, but that’s not happening.  League officials said Thursday they will continue to closely monitor developments related to COVID-19 and the different ways each area is responding.  They say fan, player and personnel safety is the primary focus.  Pointing to a situation that changes almost daily, the approach is to “remain creative, nimble and adaptive” so “when baseball can safely be played, it will be played.”
